I. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. The shop sells products on the basis of orders placed via the www.jms-furniture.co.uk web page

After placing an order, the Customer receives an e-mail confirmation that an order was placed with all the details of that order.

2. The order fulfilment process begins:

- when the shop receives a confirmation that money has been transferred to the shop’s bank account.

The Customer also receives a confirmation via email.

3. Promotional and discount sales are time-limited offers.

4. A proof of sale (the invoice) is sent via email.

5. All prices are given in pound sterling. The price provided next to each item is binding the moment a Customer places an order.

6. The shop reserves the right to change the price of any goods on offer, to introduce new goods into the range, and to conduct and stop promotional and discount sales on its internet page, and to introduce changes in these sales.

7. A sales agreement is concluded between the Customer and the shop.

8. If the item is available in a range of colours, the Customer should inform the shop about the colour they selected via a phone or email after placing their order.

9. By placing an order the buyer accepts the above terms and conditions.

 

 

 

II. PAYMENTS AND DELIVERIES

 

1. Payment method is selected when filling out the form on the shop’s web page. Payments can be made using two methods: via a bank transfer us through a PAY PAL account.

2. Order fulfilment time may vary and depends on the product and available stock.

3.Delivery of the product means that the product is delivered to the customer's address only,

DRIVER IS NOT OBLIGABLE to place an order inside the house !

The customer must arrange for two men to bring the sofa inside the house on their own. 

4. Courier.

Given the size and weight of goods, furniture are delivered to the building door only and there will be no taking goods upstairs.
Delivery drivers as standard will not carry items upstairs and all transportation of your goods to a location upstairs is entirely carried out at the buyer risk and discretion.
Our drivers are unaccompanied; they will not move or take away any existing goods.

 

 

 

 

III. RETURNS AND GUARANTEES

 

1. All products available in the shop are covered by a one-year manufacturer’s guarantee.

2. The invoice enclosed with the email is the basis for any complaint; in case of damage in transport, the Client must also include a damage report, confirming the damage and signed by the transport company employee who delivered the order.

3. Goods damaged in assembly or through inappropriate usage are not covered by the guarantee.

4. In case of faults not caused by the manufacturer, the user shall bear the cost of repairs.

5. Any order may be cancelled at any time between the placement of the order and 14 days following delivery of the goods.

6. All items must be thoroughly checked within 24 hours of delivery. Any damage caused in transit must be reported to us straight away. We have less than 24 hours to inform the courier and make a claim. If you are not able to do this please do not purchase.

7. If the Buyer is dissatisfied with his purchase for any reason he may, within 14 days of delivery, contact the Seller’s customer service department to notify them that he wishes to return some or all items from his order.

8. Buyer must arrange and pay for the return of the goods and will be refunded the full buying price less the cost of delivery (where free delivery is offered the true cost of delivery will be deducted – receipt/invoice of delivery cost can be provided)

9. Goods must be returned to the Seller in the same condition they were in at the time of delivery to the Buyer and in their original packaging.

10. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of goods and after we have inspected them for damage. We reserve the right to withhold all or part of your refund if items are returned damaged.

11. In the unlikely event of damaged, faulty or incorrect goods we will rectify the error by sending replacement goods or parts.

12. Items made to order (sofas, couches, etc.) Can not be returned.

Please remember: ITEMS PARTIALLY OR FULLY ASSEMBLED CANNOT BE RETURNED.

 

IV. PRIVACY POLICY

 

1. Registered clients have the right to view, change, and delete their personal data.

2. The shop shall not process or disclose the data pertaining to the Customers and their purchases to any other businesses. The shop shall take all possible steps to ensure the confidentiality of data pertaining to the Customers and their transactions and not disclose them to third persons.

3. The shop is not responsible for any breach of data confidentiality which may arise from causes beyond the shop’s control, especially as a result of theft of computer equipment, network security breaches, and other unforeseen events.

 

V. INFORMATION AND DESCRIPTIONS OF PRODUCTS

 

1. Unless the source of product information is not especially identified, the basis for product information is the product whose name and manufacturer are presented on the shop’s web page, including the text made available by the manufacturer for product promotion or publicly available information. Such information, just as the photos, is used only for public sale of the goods and has no other trading purpose.

2. Information and descriptions of goods placed on the shop’s web page are used in good faith, for the purpose of indirectly bring financial gain to the owner of the copyrights through the sale of their goods. The shop would like to receive any information if the data is incorrect and the errors shall be promptly removed, in accordance with the requirements provided by the copyright holder.
